David Fein to Chair United for Wildlife Conference on Combatting Illegal Wildlife Trade

Litigation special counsel David Fein, who serves as chair of the United for Wildlife Financial Taskforce, will host a conference on “Combatting the Illegal Wildlife Trade in Southern Africa.” The conference is organized by United for Wildlife and the UK Government, and is supported by the British High Commission of Botswana and the Zambesia Conservation Alliance. In addition to giving introductory and closing remarks, David will chair panel discussions on “Public Private Partnerships” and “Regional Collaboration to Tackle The Illegal Wildlife Trade.” The conference brings together leaders from finance, government, transportation, law enforcement and conservation organizations from Southern Africa, including Angola, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The invitation-only conference will take place from March 17-18 in Kasane, Botswana.
