Paul, Weiss achieved a victory for client Airbnb, Inc. when Judge Gerald Connolly of the New York State Supreme Court, Third Department, granted our motion to quash a subpoena duces tecum issued by the New York Attorney General's office. The subpoena sought user data of thousands of New Yorkers using Airbnb's internet platform, to investigate alleged violations of New York's Multiple Dwelling Law, and state and local tax provisions.
