Litigation partners Martin Flumenbaum and Brad Karp's Second Circuit review column appeared in the August 28 issue of the New York Law Journal. The article, "Court Potentially Expands Asylum Criteria," discusses Paloka v. Holder, in which the court vacated and remanded a decision by the Board of Immigration Appeals that rejected the petitioner's appeal of denial of her application for asylum, a claim that was based on her inclusion in a "particular social group." Litigation associate Orton Ndau assisted in the preparation of this article.
