The authors discuss the impact Judge Katzmann, who passed away on June 9, made on the Second Circuit and the broader community during his 22 years on the federal appellate bench. “Judge Katzmann made the lives of thousands of ordinary citizens more fair, more just, more equitable,” they note. “He made our judicial system more accessible.
