Litigation partner Roberto Gonzalez authored an article in the June 3 issue of The National Law Journal. The article, "Taking Stock of CFPB's Frenzied Agenda," discusses the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's recent rulemaking and enforcement activity, including the agency's recently proposed rule that would transform the payday lending industry. The article also discusses CFPB's arbitration proposal, additional rulemaking activity expected later in the year, and the threat looming over the agency as it awaits the D.C. Circuit's decision on the constitutionality of its structure.
