They consider recently announced reforms to the DOJ's merger review process, noting that they "are welcome developments for companies contemplating deals that may be reviewed by the DOJ." The article also discusses the forthcoming revisions to the DOJ's merger remedies policy guide, which "will give merging parties valuable information for deal planning, including guidance on what divestitures and other modifications they may need to anticipate having to agree to in order to secure clearance for their deals."
