Megan Raymond to Model Argument For Participants in USPTO Legal Experience and Advancement Program Mock AIA Trial

Litigation counsel Megan Raymond will present an argument in “America Invents Act (AIA) Oral Argument Encore,” hosted by the USPTO’s Legal Experience and Advancement Program (LEAP). The event is a mock AIA trial proceeding before a panel of three Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) administrative patent judges in which selected experienced practitioners model an oral argument for LEAP practitioners. After presenting, Megan will participate in a panel discussing the effectiveness of the arguments and approaches demonstrated during the mock trial.

LEAP provides training and oral advocacy opportunities for less experienced associates to gain practical experience in proceedings before the PTAB.

The free virtual event will be held on May 20 at 12 p.m. ET.
