Brad Karp and Lorin Reisner to Participate in PLI’s Annual Institute on Securities Regulation

Firm chair Brad Karp and litigation partner Lorin Reisner will participate in the Practising Law Institute's 48th Annual Institute on Securities Regulation. Brad will moderate a panel, titled "Hot Topics in Private Securities: Lessons Learned and Practice Tips From Recent Cases," which will address, among other topics, key considerations in bringing, defending and resolving a securities class action, the impact of regulatory investigations or actions on litigation strategy and recent case law developments. Lorin will speak on a panel, titled "They May Happen More Often but They Still Feel Like Crises - How to Be Ready for Them," which will discuss, among other topics, how to be prepared for the foreseeable and the unforeseeable, communicating with the board during a crisis, strategies for reporting to regulators and complex issues presented by potential whistleblower involvement. The event will take place from November 2-4 in New York City.
