Pro Bono Client Obtains U.S. Citizenship

Practices
Paul, Weiss successfully represented a pro bono client from
Sierra Leone in her application for United States citizenship. She
was naturalized on August 26. The firm initially represented the
client in a successful asylum application in 2004 after she fled
Sierra Leone due to kidnapping and torture, and subsequently helped
her obtain permanent residency in the U.S. in 2009.
The Paul, Weiss team included litigation associates Raj
Borsellino and Katharine
Fendler. Litigation partner Walter Rieman supervised the matter.
