Paul, Weiss was shortlisted by Asian Legal Business, a publication of Thomson Reuters, for "M&A Deal of the Year (Premium)" as part of the 2017 Southeast Asia Law Awards. The firm was recognized for its involvement in Yokohama Rubber’s $1.2 billion acquisition of Alliance Tire Group. The Southeast Asia Law Awards recognize the achievements of Southeast Asia's leading law firms and in-house legal teams, as well as the top deals and dealmakers of the financial year. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner in Singapore on May 18.
