Jack Lange Hosts AmCham Reception Celebrating 20th Anniversary of Hong Kong

Hong Kong-based partner Jack Lange, in his capacity as Vice Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, hosted an AmCham reception celebrating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the PRC. Guests included Carrie Lam, the Chief Executive-elect of Hong Kong; U.S. Consul General Kurt Tong; the Chief Secretary (number two official) of the Hong Kong Government; the Commissioner of the PRC Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Hong Kong; several other Hong Kong Government ministers, Executive Councilors and Legislative Council members and U.S. Consulate officials; and more than 300 invited guests from the international business community in Hong Kong. Jack gave a speech marking the occasion and then participated in a panel discussion with Chief Executive-elect Lam and Consul General Tong reflecting on the Handover and subsequent developments in Hong Kong.
