D1 Capital Leads Financing Round in Groq

Paul, Weiss represented D1 Capital Partners as a lead investor in a financing round in Groq, the inventor of the Tensor Streaming Processor chip. The investment will enable Groq to pursue new projects in multiple sectors, and to double headcount in 2020, and again in 2021. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Paul, Weiss team included, among others, corporate partner Ted Ackerman and counsel Nathan Sawyer.
