Description of Program and Relief

State Income Tax Filing and Payment Deadline Extended

In light of COVID-19, the Georgia Department of Revenue has extended the 2019 state income tax filing and payment deadline to July 15, 2020. Taxpayers do not need to file any additional forms to qualify for this relief. The extension does not apply to Georgia income tax withheld by businesses from their employees or to amounts required to be withheld.
