Sign Ordinance Suspension

Description of Program and Relief

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the mayor-president issued an executive order temporarily suspending Baton Rouge’s sign ordinance for 120 days. This allows Baton Rouge businesses to advertise adjustments to their services on signs in the public right-of-way.

March 21, 2020 through July 19, 2020

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

Signs must be placed directly in front of the place of the business and must be removed by July 19, 2020.
