Description of Program and Relief
Small Business Stabilization Grants for Small Businesses Affected by COVID-19
The City of Seattle has created an emergency fund for businesses impacted by COVID-19. The City will commit approximately $2.5 million in one-time Community Development Block Grant funds to the Small Business Stabilization Fund, an emergency fund that provides working capital grants in amounts up to $10,000 to qualifying small businesses impacted by COVID-19.

Effective March 13, 2020, and continuing until suspended as conditions warrant
Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions
The following are the investment criteria for financial support:
The business owner must have a low or moderate income (≤80% of the Area Median Income);
The business must have five employees or fewer;
The business must have a physical establishment;
The business must have experienced a loss of income due to COVID-19; and
The business must be located within Seattle.
