OceanSound Partners Closes Its First Private Equity Fund

As reported in The Wall Street Journal and other publications, Paul, Weiss advised OceanSound Partners in connection with its debut fund, OceanSound Partners Fund LP, with $780 million in commitments, substantially above the fund’s target of $550 million. Private equity firm OceanSound Partners was founded by Joe Benavides, formerly of Veritas Capital, to invest in companies providing technology and technology-enabled services to businesses and government customers.
