TowerBrook Completes $5.3 Billion Fundraise for Two Funds

Paul, Weiss advised TowerBrook Capital Partners in the fundraise of two new funds: TowerBrook V, its latest private equity flagship fund; and TowerBrook Structured Opportunities II, its second structured opportunities fund. TowerBrook raised an aggregate total of $5.3 billion, with both funds exceeding their initial targets and closing at the hard caps negotiated with investors. TowerBrook V closed with $4.25 billion of commitments and TSO II closed with $1.05 billion of commitments. The successful final close comes less than 5 months after both fundraisings were launched in January 2018. TowerBrook is an investment management firm headquartered in London and New York City.
