Shaw Communications Sells ViaWest to Peak 10 for Cdn$2.3 Billion

Paul, Weiss is representing Canadian telecommunications company Shaw Communications Inc. in the Cdn$2.3 billion sale of its subsidiary ViaWest, Inc. to Peak 10 Holding Corporation. ViaWest provides hybrid IT solutions, including colocation, cloud computing and security and compliance for North American enterprises. The transaction is expected to close by the end of fiscal 2017 pending regulatory approvals.
