Spectrum Brands to Acquire PetMatrix

Paul, Weiss is advising global consumer products company Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc. in its acquisition of PetMatrix, LLC, a privately held manufacturer of rawhide-free dog chews. Financial terms of the all-cash transaction, announced on April 28, were not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of May, subject to customary closing conditions.
