Paul, Weiss represented healthcare insurer Universal American Corp. in its completed acquisition by WellCare Health Plans, Inc. Under the terms of the acquisition, the completion of which was announced on April 28, Universal American stockholders received $10.00 in cash per share of common stock for a total transaction value of approximately $800 million.
