Qualcomm Board Unanimously Rejects Broadcom's Unsolicited $130 Billion Proposal

 

Paul, Weiss is representing wireless technology leader Qualcomm Incorporated in connection with an unsolicited proposal from Singapore-based chipmaker Broadcom Limited. On November 13, Qualcomm announced that its Board of Directors unanimously rejected the proposed cash-and-stock acquisition, which valued Qualcomm at $130 billion, including $25 billion in net debt. Paul, Weiss is also representing Qualcomm in its $47 billion acquisition of NXP Semiconductors N.V.
