Hudson’s Bay to Acquire Gilt

As reported by The Wall Street Journal, Forbes and other media outlets, Hudson's Bay Company announced that it has agreed to acquire Gilt Groupe Holdings, Inc., a leading and innovative online shopping destination with over 9 million members, for $250 million in cash. The transaction, subject to customary requirements, is expected to close by February 1.
The Paul, Weiss team representing General Atlantic as a significant selling shareholder of Gilt in connection with the transaction included corporate partner Matthew Abbott.
