Apollo Funds Acquire Rackspace for $4.3 Billion

Paul, Weiss represented funds affiliated with Apollo Global Management, LLC in the recently completed acquisition of Rackspace, a leading cloud management company, for $32 per share in cash. In connection with the transaction, funds managed by Searchlight Capital Partners, L.P. made a strategic equity investment in the acquired company. The acquisition has a total value of $4.3 billion. Rackspace is now a privately held company.
