Paul, Weiss client General Atlantic, together with Warburg Pincus, completed its acquisition of a 50 percent stake in Santander Asset Management for €1.02 billion. Santander Asset Management is the asset management unit of Spanish retail and commercial bank Banco Santander, with operations primarily in Europe and Latin America.
