Amanda Weingarten, an associate in the Litigation Department, focuses on a wide variety of white collar and regulatory defense, government investigations and high-stakes litigation matters. She has advised clients on matters involving insider trading, securities fraud, employment and constitutional law. Amanda has significant experience litigating in federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels.
Amanda maintains an active pro bono practice, including as co-lead counsel at trial, negotiating settlements concerning government misconduct and advising New York City artists and art institutions.
Amanda graduated as the class valedictorian at Fordham University. At Yale Law School, she served as lead articles editor of the Yale Law and Policy Review and the Yale Journal of Law & Technology. Amanda was formerly a professional ballerina with the Miami City Ballet and currently serves on the Associate Board of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
