An associate in the Litigation Department, Joshua Kaye has experience handling a broad range of matters, including antitrust, securities, intellectual property, false advertising, contract, constitutional and bankruptcy-related litigation in federal and state courts, as well as investigations by federal, state and non-governmental regulators. He has represented clients in a variety of industries, including in the financial technology, medical device and financial services sectors.
Josh also maintains an active pro bono practice. He was a member of the Paul, Weiss litigation team representing Edie Windsor in her successful challenge to the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) that resulted in a victory when the Supreme Court struck down DOMA as unconstitutional in United States v. Windsor. He also has represented victims of domestic violence in family court proceedings, and is currently working as co-counsel with the Brennan Center for Justice on a voting rights matter.
