Tanya Manno is an associate in the Litigation Department focusing on patent and appellate litigation. Tanya has represented clients at the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, various district courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). She has litigated patents in the fields of telecommunications, encryption, computer hardware and software, nucleotide sequencing and pharmaceuticals. Tanya is registered to practice in front of the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and has prosecuted patents in the cloud computing, mobile application and mechanical patent spaces.
Prior to joining Paul, Weiss, Tanya clerked for the Honorable Raymond T. Chen at the Federal Circuit. During law school, Tanya was a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association Quarterly Journal and the Moot Court Board. She also interned at the U.S. Air Force in its Office of Acquisition. Before law school, Tanya worked as a software engineer for Northrup Grumman Aerospace Systems.
Tanya is also actively involved in pro bono work and has represented clients on a variety of issues in the D.C. Superior Court, U.S. district courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, and in an amicus brief with the U.S. Supreme Court.
