A counsel in the Litigation Department, Adam is a former federal prosecutor and an experienced trial lawyer whose practice focuses on litigation and government investigations. He has represented corporations and individuals involved with investigations led by the Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney’s Offices, the SEC, the CFTC, FINRA and Congress.
Prior to joining Paul, Weiss, Adam was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. Adam tried over 40 cases and argued numerous evidentiary motions and appeals, between 2008-2014. He supervised the investigation, indictment, and trial of complex conspiracies, homicides, public corruption and racketeering.
While with the Department of Justice, Adam was awarded the Director’s Award and three special achievement awards. Adam served as an editor of the Virginia Law Review while at the University of Virginia School of Law. He was an officer in the U.S. Navy prior to law school and deployed overseas twice between 2000 and 2004.
