Gerald Brant is a partner in the Corporate Department and a member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group and Private Equity Group. Gerald advises private equity firms, portfolio companies and other private and public companies on a range of transactions, including acquisitions, carve-outs and sales. He also represents clients in a variety of other corporate matters, including corporate governance, fiduciary and securities issues and shareholder activism and defense.
EXPERIENCE
Gerald has served as a longtime advisor to Apollo Global Management and its portfolio companies, including with respect to:
- Great Canadian Gaming Corp.
- EmployBridge
- Alorica Inc.
- Constellis
- Novitex Enterprise Solutions (n/k/a Exela Technologies)
Some of Gerald’s other experience has included:
- the special committee of Papa John’s board of directors in a strategic investment from Starboard Value Partners
- numerous private funds in various shareholder activism, activist defense and private placement matters
