Tribune Company Emerges from Bankruptcy

Paul, Weiss client Tribune Company emerged from bankruptcy after a four-year odyssey in Chapter 11. Tribune is a media company that owns TV stations including superstation WGN America and iconic newspapers like the Chicago Tribune and the Los Angeles Times.

Paul, Weiss was retained by Tribune in July 2012 to act as special financing counsel to assist the company with its exit financings comprised of a $1.1 billion covenant lite term loan led by JP Morgan and a $300 million asset-based facility led by Bank of America.
