Liz Sacksteder to Speak on PLI Panel on Insurance Law and Climate Change

Litigation partner Liz Sacksteder will speak on a panel, “Rethinking Insurance Programs: Climate Change Issues,” as part of the Practising Law Institute’s Property and Casualty Insurance Law 2022 program. The panel will cover various insurance coverage issues, adjustment challenges and regulatory approaches to insurance coverage for climate change-related events, including climate-related disclosures in ESG sustainability reports on directors and officers coverage; differences among regulations proposed for wildfire risk and loss; political risk coverage for claims from drought, flood, famine and international instability; and challenges regarding the adjustment of climate change catastrophe claims, among other topics.
