Restructuring partners Alice Eaton and Sean Mitchell were featured in a Q&A on Paul, Weiss’s Restructuring practice in the 2024 edition of “Practice Perspectives: Vault’s Guide to Legal Practice Areas.” In the Q&A, Alice and Sean describe the breadth of Paul, Weiss’s Restructuring practice and what sets the practice apart.
“We are among a small handful of law firms that represent all parties in a bankruptcy,” says Alice. “Our practice is exceptionally varied, and we practice at the highest level. Also, our team is phenomenal—from our partners all the way down to the most junior associates—and we share a common mantra that we do our best when we work together.”
Alice and Sean also discuss a typical day as a restructuring partner at Paul, Weiss and why they each decided to pursue a career in restructuring.
“After working in Paul, Weiss’s Restructuring Department as a summer associate, I was hooked,” Sean says. “I had the opportunity to work with the best and brightest lawyers on cutting-edge solutions to complex problems.
