Searchlight Capital-Led Consortium to Acquire Kredinor

Paul, Weiss is advising Searchlight Capital Partners, L.P., as leader of a consortium acquiring Kredinor, Norway’s leading full-service debt collection agency. Under the agreement, Searchlight, in partnership with Fitzroy Capital and alongside other investors, will acquire Kredinor from financial services holding company SpareBank 1 Gruppen and the non-profit Kredinorstiftelsen. The transaction is expected to close in January 2027, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Financial details were not disclosed.

The Paul, Weiss team is led by corporate partners Oliver Marcuse and Stefan Arnold-Soulby.
