Lawyers

Litigation partner Daniel Reich will participate in a panel, “Conflicts and Arbitration,” at the Columbia Arbitration Day conference, an annual event hosted by the Columbia International Arbitration Association, bringing together leading practitioners and scholars from around the world to discuss pressing issues and emerging trends in international arbitration. The panel will explore how conflicts (geopolitical tension or active hostilities) have impacted the international arbitral landscape. Daniel's focus will be on how recent shifts in the global economic order, including the broadening of sanctions, tariffs, export controls, and national security review mechanisms, have been addressed in the context of international commercial arbitration proceedings. The conference will take place at Columbia’s Low Memorial Library, March 30-31. Daniel’s panel will be on March 31 at 3 p.m. ET.
