Samita Ahmad to Discuss Best Practices for SEC Reporting Disclosures at PLI Event

Corporate partner Samita Ahmad will participate in a panel, “Tuning Up Your Management’s Discussion and Analysis,” as part of the Practising Law Institute’s Annual SEC Reporting & Financial Accounting Standards Board Forum for Mid-Sized & Smaller Companies. The panel will explore best practices for public companies drafting the management discussion and analysis (MD&A) section of an SEC filing; discuss the SEC’s guidance on the use of non-GAAP metrics and key performance indicators; evaluate macro trends impacting MD&A disclosure, including geopolitical disruption, tariffs and artificial intelligence; and highlight some of the SEC staff’s key focus areas, among other topics.

The forum will take place in New York on September 24 at 1:30 p.m. ET.
