Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP announced today that Ian Edvalson has joined the firm in San Francisco as a partner in the Corporate Department focused on life sciences transactions. Edvalson advises public and private biopharmaceutical, medtech and life sciences companies on the full range of transactions that support the development and commercialization of their products and services, including license and collaboration agreements, IP aspects of M&A transactions and other commercial agreements.

Edvalson has been recognized by Chambers USA for Life Sciences: Corporate/Commercial – California since 2021 and previously from 2007 to 2014. He earned a B.A. in Korean and B.S. in Molecular Biology from Brigham Young University, and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
