Our Project Finance & Development Group guides leading sponsors, private equity investors, developers and lenders through their most complex and transformational energy and infrastructure projects and financings. We help our clients realize ambitious projects that shape industries and communities worldwide, advising across the development, acquisition, financing, construction, operation and disposition of large-scale energy and infrastructure assets.

The lawyers on the team have experience on innovative global transactions and financings across the full spectrum of energy and infrastructure sectors, including renewable and conventional power generation, energy transition and decarbonization technologies (and related infrastructure), digital and transmission infrastructure, oil and gas, mining and metals, and transportation assets such as rail, ports, roads and airports. The group combines deep industry knowledge with experience in sophisticated structuring and financing strategies, delivering practical advice aligned with key commercial and investment objectives.

We offer clients strategic counsel on development and construction financings; term and portfolio financings; back-leverage and warehouse facilities; revolving credit facilities; private placements; and bridge financings, including bridge loans to tax equity. We regularly work with single lenders, large bank syndicates and a range of institutional capital providers.

The practice collaborates with our top-tier global M&A, private equity, capital markets and structured finance teams, as well as with our restructuring practice, where we work to preserve value and reposition assets for long-term success.
