Alex Jones is an associate in the Litigation Department whose practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, including securities and restructuring litigation. He has experience in federal and state courts, bankruptcy courts and arbitration proceedings across all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation and pleadings through discovery, depositions, dispositive motion practice and trial preparation. He has handled a wide variety of matters, including trade-secrets and restrictive-covenant disputes, fraudulent-transfer and other bankruptcy-related litigation, franchise and personal-injury defense, and litigation diligence in connection with corporate transactions. He also represents clients in internal investigations and in responding to regulatory and government inquiries. Alex has represented public and private companies in the pharmaceutical, technology, media, energy, financial services and consumer sectors.
He maintains an active pro bono practice, including appellate representation of individual veterans seeking service-connected disability benefits before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
