Zayn Siddique is an associate in the Litigation Department whose practice focuses on high-stakes litigation, government and internal investigations, and regulatory proceedings. He has experience with constitutional law, administrative law and statutory interpretation, and has drafted briefs in several federal courts as well as the U.S. Supreme Court.

Prior to joining Paul, Weiss, Zayn served as the Principal Deputy Director for the White House Domestic Policy Council. In this role, he advised President Biden, members of his Cabinet, and other senior Administration officials on housing, education, labor, rural development and anti-poverty policy. Zayn also led a number of artificial intelligence, civil rights, and privacy initiatives at the White House. In addition to his government service, Zayn has extensive experience preparing political candidates for debates, including Vice President Kamala Harris in 2020.

Zayn is also the author of an article in the Columbia Law Review entitled “Nationwide Injunctions,” which provides a comprehensive overview of this increasingly common remedy and has been cited by federal courts across the country. Previously, Zayn served as a law clerk at all three levels of the federal court system, including to Justice Elena Kagan of the U.S. Supreme Court.
