A partner in the Corporate Department and member of the Finance Group, Brad Finkelstein focuses on representing private equity funds and their portfolio companies, including affiliates of Apollo Global Management, in a wide variety of corporate finance transactions, including leveraged buyouts, debt restructurings, portfolio company financings, fund financings and alternative asset/structured financings.

EXPERIENCE

Brad works with virtually all types of corporate financial products, including leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, bridge loans, ABLs, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, ship loans, margin loans, credit backstops, subscription facilities, NAV facilities, warehouse facilities and various derivatives products. In addition to working on New York-based financings, Brad also regularly works on financings in foreign jurisdictions.

Brad also handles the financing aspects of corporate debt restructurings. Brad also has extensive experience in the purchase and financing of debt portfolios and distressed debt instruments (including distressed debt portfolios). Additionally, Brad represents alternative asset managers in connection with acquisition-related structured finance transactions.

Brad has been involved in numerous industries and jurisdictions. Brad’s current corporate clients include Apollo Global Management, ADT Security Services, Alorica, Atlas SP, Clear, Hostess Brands, Huddle House, Lochner, Lumileds, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Sun Country Airlines and Ventia ltd.

A member of the Columbia University Business Law Review, Brad was also a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Prior to attending law school, Brad earned a bachelor of science from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where his concentration was in finance. After graduating from Wharton, Brad worked for two years as a financial analyst at a real estate investment firm in New York.
