Dan Zygielbaum is a partner in the Tax Department. Dan’s practice focuses on tax planning for investment funds, including fund formations, continuation fund transactions, GP-stakes deals, fund recapitalizations and fund secondary transactions. He also advises clients on the tax aspects of financings, public and private M&A, joint ventures, and capital markets transactions. Dan's clients include private equity, real estate, credit and venture fund sponsors, as well as sovereign wealth funds, REITs, and other public and private companies.

Dan is ranked by Chambers USA (2026) in the Tax category and has frequently spoken and written on topics regarding tax-related issues for several prominent legal publications and organizations.

  • SCI Capital Partners in its $1.6 billion structured continuation vehicle transaction in partnership with funds managed by Apollo
