Ryan focuses his practice on a range of corporate matters and regularly advises in the negotiation and structuring of mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, private equity investments and joint ventures on behalf of a diverse range of clients, including public and private companies, private equity funds and other entities and institutions.

- Funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management in the $6.25 billion acquisition of The Venetian Resort and Sands Expo and Convention Center from Las Vegas Sands Corporation
- Brighton Park Capital in numerous transactions, including:
- its growth investment in HITRUST
- its investment in LucidLink as part of a Series C funding round
- its Series D investment in Silverfort
- Eli Lilly in its up to $2.4 billion acquisition of Orna Therapeutics
- Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in the $2.49 billion all-cash sale of a majority stake in its internal business and administrative services, Community Oncology Revitalization Enterprise Ventures, to McKesson Corporation
- General Atlantic in numerous transactions, including:
- its Series B financing round in Seaport Therapeutics as lead investor
- its investment in Torchy’s Tacos
- its investment in Restore Hyper Wellness
- its and BeyondNetZero’s investment, alongside other investors, in o9 Solutions
- General Electric in the $21.4 billion sale of its BioPharma business to Danaher Corporation
