Peter Borock Wins Cornerstone Award for Affordable Housing Pro Bono Work

Real estate associate Peter Borock will be recognized with Lawyers Alliance’s Cornerstone Award for his work on behalf of Settlement Housing Fund, a New York City-based nonprofit that creates and sustains high quality affordable housing and programs. Alongside real estate partner Salvatore Gogliormella, Peter advised Settlement Housing Fund on the internal reorganization of two affordable housing projects, one in Brooklyn and one in the Bronx. The reorganization involved coordinating with multiple state and city agencies, along with the New York Attorney General’s office, following the exit of certain tax credit investors.
The Cornerstone Awards are presented annually to a select group of individuals and institutions that have made extraordinary contributions through pro bono legal services that help nonprofits address critical human needs and improve the quality of life for low-income New Yorkers.
The award will be presented at a virtual ceremony on December 2 at 5 p.m. ET.
