Paul, Weiss hosted a webinar, “Controlling Women: New Strategies in the Battle for Reproductive Freedom,” on March 14 as part of its Women’s History Month programming. The conversation, moderated by litigation associate Daniela Lorenzo, featured Kathryn Kolbert and Julie F. Kay, authors of Controlling Women: What We Must Do Now To Save Reproductive Freedom. The authors discussed the fight for reproductive freedom and laid out a bold new strategy to safeguard these rights.
Kathryn co-founded the Center for Reproductive Rights and argued Planned Parenthood v. Casey in the Supreme Court; Julie challenged Ireland’s abortion ban before the European Court of Human Rights, laying the groundwork for legalized abortion in Ireland.
