On July 2, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) approved, with immediate effect, the NYSE’s rule proposal (available here) to extend until September 30, 2020, the temporary waiver of certain requirements under the NYSE’s shareholder approval rule applicable to equity issuances to related parties and equity issuances in private placements in excess of 20%.
