Paul, Weiss is advising KPS Capital Partners, LP, on its all-cash acquisition of a controlling stake in France-based Chargeurs Films de Protection SAS, aka Novacel, a leading global manufacturer of surface protection solutions. Novacel provides process and protection films, tapes, papers and specialty machines to the building, equipment, industrial, appliances and transportation markets.
Under the agreement, the selling shareholder, Compagnie Chargeurs Invest SA, will invest alongside KPS and retain a 25% ownership interest. Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
