Stone Point Capital Acquires Financial Advisory Firm Amber River

Paul, Weiss advised Stone Point Capital LLC on its acquisition of Amber River, one of the UK’s largest and fastest-growing independent wealth management advisory firms. Amber River has £13.6 billion of assets under management and 330 financial advisors across 13 locations. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Paul, Weiss team was led by corporate partners Roger Johnson, Stefan Arnold-Soulby and Hein Visser, and included partners Prem Mohan, Neel Sachdev and Matthew Wilson; tax partners Timothy Lowe and Rohit Pisal; intellectual property partner John Patten and counsel Georgina Hoy; and antitrust partner Annie Herdman.
