Paul, Weiss’s New York office hosted comprehensive business meetings for French businesses participating in U.N. procurement processes. The event, on May 19 and 20, was organized by consulting firm Business France in collaboration with the United Nations and France’s Permanent Mission to the U.N. Litigation partner Chris Boehning delivered opening remarks, underscoring the key role French companies play in providing support to areas of crisis and promoting internal partnerships. Partners Geoff Chepiga and Dan Reich, and associate César Rivière spoke on a panel that covered legal considerations throughout the bid cycle. Additional panelists included members from the U.N. Secretariat, U.N. Peacekeeping Operations, UNICEF and the U.N. Development Programme, who discussed U.N. procurement procedures, trends and future directions across the U.N.’s global needs to an audience of French business leaders.
