Paul, Weiss Offers Masterclass on Evolving Strategies for Navigating Distressed Situations in U.S. and EU

Restructuring partners Jacob Adlerstein, Nick Charlwood and Liz Osborne presented a masterclass, “A Transatlantic Perspective on Evolving Strategies on Navigating Distress,” and discussed evolving tools and mechanisms for managing and navigating distressed situations in the United States and Europe. The session, which is part of the Lexology Learn series, covered the rise of liability management exercises as a means of avoiding formal restructuring processes, and compared the U.S. chapter 11 process with the more recently introduced English restructuring plan.
