Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP announced today that Mandeep Lotay will join the firm as Head of European Structured Finance & Securitizations and a partner in the Finance Group within the Corporate Department, resident in London. Lotay advises alternative asset managers, private capital funds, financial institutions and public and private companies on a wide range of credit opportunities, including private credit and asset-backed finance transactions, securitizations and structured finance transactions.

Lotay advises on transactions across the entire credit spectrum, including on the acquisition, disposal and financing of loan origination businesses and performing and non-performing loan portfolios; and on financing transactions, including full recourse asset-based lending, earnings-based leveraged finance and limited recourse securitization product transactions.
Lotay has been recognized by Chambers Europe for his work in capital markets and securitizations since 2009. He is currently ranked by The Legal 500 as a Leading Partner in Banking and Finance and by The IFLR1000 as a Market Leader in Banking and in Capital Markets: Structured Finance and Securitization, among other honors.
Lotay earned an LL.B., with honors, from Warwick University and a First Class LL.M. from the University of Cambridge (Darwin College).
